HEY EVERYONE!!!
So, as you may have noticed I've been uploading a story I've titled "J-Rock Wizard of Oz". So far I have finished 7 chapters. There will probably be 12 when I finish.
I don't know how many people on here listen to J-Rock or anything related to Japanese Music, but this is a story that my friend Pomme and I came up with for our Crazy MySpace ( www.myspace.com/makingcrazysexy ) . Future stories related to J-Rock are as follows:

Accidentally Said Yes
Current mood:apathetic
Okay, this is about how Sarai accidentally agreed to go out with a guy who wasn't her boyfriend.
I was sitting in the BookStore with Pomme and Manami-chan. This guy comes in. He has been in before and last time we had a conversation about bibles. No problem.
He comes in while Pomme and Manami are in with me and just looks around, then leaves. (I'm going to call him J for this) Well, the girls leave to get me some food because I'm not feeling well and I've had like 2 hours of sleep.
After they leave J comes back in.
Keep in mind that I have had 2 hours or less of sleep, not mention that I was cramping like you wouldn't believe and I am really naive.
He says "I was to shy to ask you in front of your friends, but would you like to go and get a fountain drink with me after you get off work?"
I say "Sorry, I can't today."
He says "Will you be here tomorrow?" (meaning Friday, as this was Thursday)
I say "No, but I'll be here Saturday."
He says "That's cool. I'll see you on Saturday then"
He then asks how old I am. Anyone who knows me and this thing I have with age differences should have expected my answer.
I say "I'm 20 and I'll be 21 in September"
He says "That's cool, I'm 23."
I say "Oh, that's cool. That's not that big of an age difference. That works. Cool."
He says "Okay, well I'll see you on Saturday"
Then he walks out. After he walks out my brain catches up with my mouth.
I then proceed to call Manami and ask her if what I just did was agreeing to go out on a date. She and Pomme say yes.
Now, I'm sure you're wondering how I "accidentally" accepted a date with some guy. Well, I've never been asked out before Donnie. And he came right out and said "Do you want to be my girlfriend" so, having little experience in this area I accidentally agreed to a date.
On Saturday I explained to J that I couldn't go out on a "date" with him because I have a bf, but if he would still like to go as friends that would be fine. He totally lied and said that he had only asked me out as a friend because he needs some more.
Also, I could never go out with someone who hangs out with the person he hangs out with. Normally I don't judge by friends, because I have some crazy friends, but I know the guy (lets call him G) and he is a massive ASSHOLE! Not to mention that I am still watiting to cut off this guy's dick, because he was very mean to one of my friends.
So, that is how Sarai accidentally got a date.

A Nostalgia Type Mood

Hello, I'm Sarai Lillie, welcome to my blog. Today's tale is of a strange young woman with Nostalgia problems. "A Nostalgia Type Mood"
If you recognized what I was just copying there, then you might be in need of a good dose of Nostalgia.
Today I have not only gotten Fawn to watch Christmas Eve on Sesame Street, but I've also watched it myself! I also watched 6 songs from classic episodes of Sesame Street that I remember growing up watching. For example "Cereal Girl" which was a parody of "Material Girl" by Madonna. And "Put down the Duckie"!
I miss being a child sometimes. Right now, I'm getting ready to watch something else I used to adore when I was younger "Faerie Tale Theatre" with Shelley Duvall. Which is what I was parodying above. She always began each episode with "Hello, I'm Shelley Duvall, welcome to Faerie Tale Theatre." I liked that about her, you know? Anyway, I found "The Pied Piper of Hamelin" on YouTube and am actually getting ready to watch it. When I was growing up that was my favorite episode of Faerie Tale Theatre ever.
You know what else I want to watch? Lambchop. I know there have to be some people on here who used to watch Lambchop, Hush Puppy and Charlie Horse! God, I miss the good old days when TV was educational and fun, not just teenage drama and stupidity. Where did all the good shows go?!
ANd now you watch Sesame Street and Cookie Monster doesn't even eat cookies. They don't have "News Flash" with Kermit the Frog, Elmo and Big Bird are overly done. They don't even have Savion dancing anymore. So, if you are in a Nostalgia Type Mood like me, go to YouTube and watch some old school Sesame Streets or Faerie Tale Theatre or anything that you can find that made you smile as a child.

The power is back on at the house. A friend paid for it. We are still supposed to be out by the end of the month. luckily my mom got paid last night so we have some money.
still staying with a friend. Kinda wish I wasn't. I'm going to miss this apartment. It just reminds me of how my ex-stepfather said we would never have to move again after we moved into our last house. Then he drags us here and then he and mom divorce. Now we have to move again. I get so tired of moving from place to place. I want to visit places, but still have a safe place to come home to.
Been thinking alot about going to Wisconsin. I have always been happy there, except for the fact that it is frigid. Lol, that's the selling point for my boyfriend!
Still waiting to see if we get the money from his court hearing. hope we find out sooner rather than later.

When it rains, God it fucking pours

SO!! Updates on the Sarai
Power got shut off on Wednesday. We have no power whatsoever. And no money, even on a credit card, to get it turned back on. So, staying with a friend for the time being. This guy is so awesome, btw. I am really thankful for everything he has done for us.
We have to be out of our apartment by the end of the month. At first I thought it was the end of the week, but that was a miscommunication on my part. So the end of July we are supposed to be out of the apartment. Chris, Donnie and I are probably still going to be here at our friend's house. Which will be a little cramped because it is only a 2 bed room apartment. But we'll manage
Plus there is all sorts of shit going on with poor Fawn.
If everyone who believes in a higher power would pray on all of our behalves that would be appreciated.

Okay, so I thought everyone would like to know that Pomegranate and I are going to be making our very own YouTube show!! Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday (possibly) I will post a video that we made. I won't guarantee that it will be one video for each day. It maybe more than that, but in that case I will post the first own and then give you the links to the others if you are interested in watching more. ^^
We are going to pick random topics, sometimes it will have to do with J-Rock and sometimes it will have to do with our INSANITY! No one ever knows what will happen with the Pomme and Sarai's Crazy Show!!

What REALLY irks me...

You know what really irks me?! When I wait for a book, a book that I've been dying to read for a while now, and wait and wait and wait, then finally get it and discover that it is ABRIDGED!!!
As many of you know (or at least could've figured it out by my profile) I am trying to become "well read", I want to read a bunch of the classics and I want to read a bunch of foreign literature. So this was a severe blow to that desire.
I placed "The Tale of Genji" by Murasaki Shikibu (also known as "Genji Monogatari") and just got it today... only to find out that the Translator cut out big portions of the book because he felt they were "superfluous". He (Kencho Suematsu) says (and I quote) "In translating I have cut out several chapters which appeared superfluous," WHO IS HE TO DECIDE WHAT IS SUPERFLUOUS IN CLASSICAL LITERATURE?!
Not only that, he says he cut down several dialogues, though he seems to reason that it is okay because he added nothing of his own. So, it is all of Lady Muraskai's words, they've just been butchered and removed.
Those of you who don't know what the importance of this novel is let me enlighten you. "The Tale of Genji" was the world's FIRST novel. Another big thing, it was written by a WOMAN in an era where most women had no traditional education. It is not only one of Japan's most famous books, but it is the FIRST book of it's kind in the entire WORLD!
I do NOT want to read the abridged version, the butchered version by a guy who seems to think that classical lit can be cut down because of it's superfluity. What if what he cut out is actually something Lady Murasaki wanted to be there to explain something about Genji or his love interests? This guy cut out ENTIRE CHAPTERS!!
God, that pisses me off...
Another thing that irks me is when Hollywood fucks up Historic details...
I don't know how many of you have seen the movie "The Other Boleyn Girl" (Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansson, Eric Bana; 2008), but I watched it last night with my little sister. Besides the awkward questions Hannah asked through out various parts of the movie (Sexual Content is annoying...), it was quality time with my baby sister.
But am I the only one who thought that the movie was kind of fucked up? I mean, I know that the time period itself was fucked up, but seriously?!

First off, Eric Bana is a brunette, (which so far has been my qualm with most movies involving Henry VIII) Henry VIII was a RED HEAD!! How else did he end up with Elizabeth I? Because, as EVERYONE knows, Elizabeth was a RED HEAD. She was the Red Rose of Tudor, because of her red hair. Natalie Portman is also a brunette, which bothered me because Anne Boleyn had black hair. We are talking raven black, not medium brown.
Another thing, they included the letter B that Anne was prone to wearing, but it was not on a piece of ribbon to cover the mole on her throat. There was nothing about the extra growths on her hands, which was one of the things that confirmed her as a "witch", along with the mole on her throat.
Granted, I know absolutely nothing about Mary Boleyn, other than she was Anne's sister. So the stuff they did on her may very well have been accurate, except that I don't remember Mary being married when she began her affair with Henry. *shrug* I don't know though.
I didn't like the way they portrayed Anne. They portrayed her as this ambitious bitch who was willing to do anything and everything to attain a higher position. Which was never the impression I got from reading about her. Then again, this movie was based on the book "The Other Boleyn Girl" by Philippa Gregory, not necessarily on how I view history.
Anyway, moving on, in the movie Henry rapes Anne, because he is angry with her for forcing him to divorce Catherine of Aragon. Both Hannah and Donnie asked me how I know that didn't actually happen. I don't know what kind of sexual relationship Henry and Anne had, but I didn't like the way that the portrayed Anne as being solely responsible for everything that happened to England and to Henry. It didn't take into account that Henry was an adulterer, a boorish and temperamental man. So, the fact that he bends Anne over and rapes her because SHE forced him to divorce Catherine, forced him to separate from Rome kind of outraged me. She never held a gun to his head, (granted there were no guns then, but still) the only thing she did was withhold sex from him. She said unless he did so and so, she wouldn't bed him. Wow.
She refused to have sex with him, unless he did this and that, so he rapes her for forcing him to do these things. What the holy fuck?! Seriously?! Why didn't Henry just find another woman to fuck? In history it is said that Henry really did care about Anne, he wrote her poetry while he was trying to woo her. But this movie kind of ruined that love, it turned it into all about Anne being a bitch (who literally did almost have sex with her brother in the movie) to everyone, not just Henry, but also her sister. It was ridiculous. It was a good movie on it's own, but as far as history goes, I am left incredibly confused, sickened and fed up with Hollywood fucking everything up.

You know, I don't get it, I really don't. I don't understand where you are coming from, because no matter what I would be there for you. If everyone was attacking HIM you would be so mad, you would be hurt, and you would defend HIM. But you don't expect me to defend mine? You don't expect me to be hurt and angry that you think so little of him, after everything we have been through this year?
If it was me needing the shoulder, would yours be there? I think not. Because if the situation was reversed you would be telling me that you have had worse things happen to you, then you would complain about your mom and your bitchy sisters and then expect me to feel better because, after all, my life isn't the hell yours is. Right? Isn't that it?
SO if YOUR mother had screamed at you for nothing today, had attacked you verbally for asking a simple question, you would be bawling your eyes out, you would be angry and you would tell me it wasn't fair that you get treated this way, but because it happened to me you say "oh that happens to everyone, at least your mom doesn't hit you when she is mad". That is beside the fucking point!
If it was Z/K that your mother was attacking you would stand up in a heartbeat, you would be pissed. You would say your mom had no right, your would defend him with everything you had, but you don't expect me to do the same? You doubt what I say is true?! FUCK YOU!
You continuously go back to a person who treats you like shit, after every time saying, "I will never talk to so-and-so again" but he makes a few off-color jokes and he says a few things that hurt your feelings and you are ready to throw him away like a piece of used tissue paper?! You continuously stand up for a mother that hurts you, a little sister that has tried to kill you, but you expect me to let you just say whatever you want about someone who has loved me and treated me better than anyone else has?! FUCK THAT SHIT!
I'm sorry your life is shitty, I'm sorry that I can't fix everything, but this is FUCKING RIDICULOUS!! I'm not going to choose between the two of you. I'm not choosing between any of my friends and him. I've had enough. I won't choose, I'll just leave. I'm tired of being a rock, I'm tired of being EVERYONE'S FUCKING SHOULDER TO CRY ON!! When there isn't anyone willing to be my shoulder in return.

The Michael Jackson Blog (You knew it was coming)
Okay, so maybe I have no room to talk about anything having to do with the King of Pop, but I am still allowed my opinions, I still have that right.
First off, I think it is absolutely ridiculous that so many people are just brushing his death aside because of things he was ACCUSED of but never CONFIRMED to have done.
Whether you like him or not, MJ did so much for the world in terms of music and in terms of helping people. He was a musical god in his own right, when he gave us himself he gave his all ALWAYS.
I don't care if you don't like him, or don't understand what he gave, but that doesn't mean you have to trash-talk him to everyone around you. Spew your venom elsewhere.
