Bleh: The Sequel (dA)

Journal Entry: Sat Feb 9, 2008, 12:05 PM
  • Mood: Nervous
  • Listening to: water flowing
  • Reading: what i'm writing
  • Watching: the screen
  • Playing: "i don't wanna think about Ewan McGregor!"
  • Eating: absolutely nothing. And its delicious too.
  • Drinking: Dr. Pepper
I warned you that it would come and here it is...

I really have nothing to say, except that mine enemy (boredom) has returned for yet another misadventure in journaling.

This being said, you must excuse any strange/scarring things you might read in this document. :P

Who on here has seen "Nightwatch" starring Ewan McGregor (Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, Moulin Rouge!), Nick Nolte (I love Trouble, Cape Fear), and the one and only Patricia Arquette (Medium, Holes)? Anyone? Well, I saw most of it last night. Let me tell you, SCARRED FOR LIFE!!!!

Honestly! And it wasn't the fact that I saw all of Ewan McGregor (I've seen that already. Velvet Goldmine, not a good movie!!), or even the fact that he was the nightwatchman in a morgue. But the fact that there was someone raping dead people and framing him for it. And also the fact that someone cut off their own hand (Yes, I've seen SAW, but that doesn't change the freakiness of the act!)

By now, I'm sure some of you are thinking "Sarai, dear, common sense says to change the channel! So you should've done that!" and in reply all I have to say is, I see raped dead people!!! AH!! *screams in terror*. Seriously however, I'm one of those people that will sit through a God-awful movie, because I believe it will get better. I sit with my legs crossed repeating in my head "It has to get better. It can't possibly be as terrible as it seems" Therefore I am continously scarred for life by the movies on the tv.

Now, that is over with.
How are you?!

A cure for the blues (a NCC of Spencer Blog)

A friend sent this to me and it is an AMAZING testimony!! I will never look at the world the same way, because it so changes your perspective. What would happen if you were born w/o arms AND legs? what would you do?

If you are able to watch YouTube, then you NEED to watch this!! It is amazing and an inspiration!

weird dreams!

a dream
*fades in eerie voice, for dramatic effects*
I was standing in front of this big, magnificent building w/ marble pillars and grand steps. It is storming all around me and the clouds are black and crimson. When ever one of the black clouds and one of the red clouds meets in front of the white moon, they cast terrible shadows on the ground, making it look like demons are coming after me. Lightning is striking all around me. I look up and there are two statues, standing at the top of the building. One is a man, (nude) he looks like Michaelangelo's David. The other is a woman, (also nude), she looks like Venus de Milo, except she has both arms.
Suddenly *pauses for the effect* a bolt of white lightning strikes the David statue's leg, right above the knee. But it is more like a cut, so he starts bleeding profusely from the wound. He starts to fall, because he was standing and Venus statue tries to grab him, but he still falls. He falls into a fountain in front of the house. I look up at the moon and see it slowly filling up with blood. Then it begins to rain, you guessed it, blood. Venus statue is still standing on top of the roof, but she is so upset (i think she loved the david statue) that she throws herself off the building. When she hits the ground she breaks into 3 pieces. And each piece (every inch) weeps rain water. Then i woke up.
*fades out dramatically because i'm melodrama*

poem I wrote...

Drugs and Violence

She tries to recall the sound of her daddy's voice, but she can't years have passed since she heard him speak, years since he told her that he loved her or called her by name. When she can't stop the tears she sees his face and wishes he was there, but...

Drugs and violence took her life away. They dragged her under where she couldn't breathe. She lives with it everyday.

He sits in his cell, he's holding a photograph of his little girl. He wonders how he got here, where did he go wrong? He thinks about the life he lost, how he can't change it now. As the tears roll down his cheek, he sees his daughter's face and he wishes he could be with her. His father's mistakes become his own.

Alcohol and violence took his life away. They dragged him under, wouldn't let him breathe. Your father's mistakes don't have to become your own, but he lives with it everyday.

She's 17 trapped by her father's mistakes. He reads the paper and can't believe it ended this way. Crimson paints the pavement in front of the church where his daughter died. Her life was just beginning, but it's already over. As they wheel her away, her daddy cries. She got into what she shouldn't and, now,

The drugs and the violence stole her life away. Dragged her under where she couldn't breathe. In the end it's the choices you make, they affect everyone. She lived, and died, with the drugs and the violence everywhere.
